The four major criteria are food, service, ambiance, and quirk (a category that encompasses any special quality that the restaurant may have). Location and price will be also be taken into account. Each of the main categories will receive one of the following ratings:

Abysmal: Avoid at all cost!

Mediocre: Go only if you are famished and it is the only restaurant in sight

Good: Not amazing, but worth the trip

Stellar: Add to your favorites / to-go visit list now!

Foodgasmic: You don’t know what you’re missing! A rare breed of perfection
