The four major criteria are taste, ease of preparation, visual appeal, and quirk (a category that encompasses any special quality that the recipe may have). Cost and accessibility of ingredients will be also be taken into account. Each of the main categories will receive one of the following ratings:

Abysmal: Avoid at all cost!

Mediocre: Use only if you are famished and do not have the ingredients for anything else

Good: Not amazing, but worth a try

Stellar: Add to your favorites / to try list now!
